Steve's New Userpic

Once again, if you can't watch the embedded video (Firefox seems to have this problem), please follow the link and check it out on my Sevenload page. Thanks!

UPDATE (5/1): The embedded video is now hosted at the Internet Archive. It seems to play fine in Firefox, and Internet Explorer. Hopefully those of you who couldn't see it before, can see it now. If not, please let me know!

Sevenload doesn't seem to work in Canada. As the only other guy named Steve on this blog who watches wrestling this is very distressing.

What the hell, Sevenload?

Stay tuned. I'll figure something out.

I switched over to a version hosted at the Internet Archive. Is that any better?

Works fine for me now.

Any thought on Obama being introduced at the correspondents dinner to Hogan's music? IIRC, The Daily Show did a similar gag years ago by playing Real American over Howard Dean's infamous speech.

I thought it was awesome. I'm not much of a Hogan fan these days, but it was definitely cool to see the President of the United States take the stage at an official event to pro wrestling theme music. It was even cooler the way he fucking owned Donald Trump in his speech.

I just started uploading a new Riffing on Mail Call video that would certainly have referenced it, had Osama bin Laden not been killed yesterday. Between that, the correspondents' dinner, and the release of the birth certificate, it was a pretty damn good week for the president.

I wonder if he was standing up there ripping on Trump thinking "If you like this stuff then just wait a couple days. I have something that's going to blow your fucking mind!"

Now I wonder if the birth certificate came out when it did so that when the Osama news came out people wouldn't think he was trying to deflect the birther issue.
