What can I say, it's Christmas Eve and I don't feel like writing a full-blown article, or putting together a comic or some other Photoshopped piece of filth. Plus, as you may have noticed if you bother to watch the videos on Fridays, I also loves me some David Copperfield. The guy gets to me. And what do I care if he took a woman to his remote tropical island and raped her? He vanished an Orient Express train car in mid-air! Once a guy does that, how can we expect him to abide by our notions of morality?

Anyway, here's a video of the final trick from his 16th television special, Unexplained Forces. It's somewhat beautiful and heartfelt, and somewhat schmaltzy and maudlin, but I fall for it every time. It's total corn, but it's also a very cool, wonderfully staged illusion, with somewhat of a holiday theme. If you're dreaming of a white Christmas but aren't going to get one, perhaps this will do:
