You Had to Ask #47
Saturday, August 31st, 2013 | 04:01 pm (UTC) - Athiest Reads Question
Hey Steve, I'm a huge fan of your "Athiest Reads" series. Of all the books you've reviewed, most appear to have been written out of faith (Mere Christianity) or as "sugar for the Kool-Aid," keeping the faithful from questioning their beliefs (Evidence that Demands a Verdict). Which book you've reviewed would you say is the most cynical, and just being written for the bucks versus for the goal of conversion or deepening of faith?

The one that seems the most cynical to me is I Don't Have Enough Faith to Be an Atheist. There is literally nothing new there at all. It reads like it was borrowed about equally from The Case for Christ and William Lane Craig's usual act, which it probably was. It offers no new angles or insights into the subject. It's nothing but repetition of the same arguments apologists have been making since before I was born.

hi steve even though i posted my questions before i'm reposting them again just incase they did not get posted the first time. okay first question:if you were directing a batman film which actor would you cast to portray him? second question:have you ever listened to any songs by the rockband the cult? third and final question:have you ever watched an episode of the series supernatural? corey donaldson. ps if i were directing a batman film i would consider casting jeffrey dean morgan of the series supernatural to portray him.if you enjoy listening to great rock music check out these songs by the cult on youtube go west,a flower in the desert, rider in the snow, bad medicine waltz, she sells sanctuary, love, big neon glitter, hollowman, wildflower,li'l devil, peace dog, love removal machine, sunking, american horse, soul asylum and sweet soul sister.now if you enjoy great television checkout supernatural which is about two young brothers sam and dean winchester who lose their mother at an early age due to supernatural circumstances raised by their father john winchester sam and dean grow up to be hunters who hunt dangerous supernatural beings like monsters, ghosts and demons.
