This is my first written entry to this blog in years, and naturally it's the one where I tell you I'm not going to make any more entries to this blog. Since my YouTube channel became my creative focus five years ago (seriously?) this blog has been little more than another place to post my videos. Now that the vast majority of my audience finds and interacts with me via YouTube, or through Facebook or Twitter, there seems little point in continuing to cross-post videos here. So I'm closing up shop. As a few of you may have noticed, I allowed the domain stevelikestocurse.com to lapse last week. Now all that remains is this, the sign on the door, as it were.
My output isn't going to cease. I'm just going to cease posting it on this blog. But the blog itself will remain as-is indefinitely. I love this thing. If I hadn't started this blog in 2006, I never would have started a YouTube channel four years later. Now that YouTube channel earns a living for myself, my wife and our cat. So I owe a lot to this blog of mine. And occasionally it's done me proud; a few of my articles here have been widely shared, and one ("Homeschoolers Who Don't Learn Science Shouldn't Receive a Diploma") was even picked up and reprinted in a volume of the Opposing Viewpoints book series. Not too shabby.
If you've been a regular reader of Steve Likes to Curse, I want to thank you. And if you want to keep up with me from now on, I want to invite you, if you haven't already, to subscribe to my YouTube channel, and follow me on Facebook and Twitter. Even though I'm done with this blog, I'm not done by a long shot.
See you around.
